Difficult races in Germany


NURBURGRING – AT Racing continues in the top positions of the championship despite a bit of bad luck at the Nurburgring, third event of the 2013 International GT Open. Alexander Talkanitsa and Alexander Talkanitsa Junior, in their Ferrari 458 Italia GT2 N°1, are fifth in the overall Drivers classification (48 points) while AT Racing has the third place among the Super GT team. Now the duo looks ahead, to the next scheduled event ( Jerez, July 15th-16th) to continue the running towards to the podium position.
QUALIFYING AND RACE 1 – An incident few seconds before the green light affected the first German race and all the weekend. The team’s technicians managed to repair the 458 which re-joined the race after few minutes and ended 6th in the Super GT category. On the grid, Talkanitsa father and son started from the fourth position.
QUALIFYING AND RACE 2 – The AT Racing Ferrari 458 Italia N°1 was fifth after the second qualifying session of the last weekend (Super GT). The position is the same also at the end of race 2 with a regular pace of Talkanitsa and Talkanitsa Junior.
