PORTIMAO – AT Racing puts up new positive results at Algarve, second round of the 2013 GT Open International. At the end of the two scheduled races in Portugal, Alexander Talkanitsa and Alexander Talkanitsa Junior are third in the overall classification with 43 points (in first and second positions Andrea Montermini and Luca Filippi, respectively 72 and 58 points).
QUALIFYING 1 AND RACE 1 – The No.1 AT Racing Ferrari 458 Italia GT2, with the new livery, hits up the third best time in the first qualifying session of the weekend. The Talkanitsa drivers, father and son, are able to finish race 1 in the same position of the starting grid and took a great results among the Super GT cars.
QUALIFYNG 2 AND RACE 2 – Another good perfomance and another good position on the starting grid finishing the second qualifyng session in fifth place (Super GT category). In race 2, the AT Racing Ferrari has more handicap to pay in respect to the majority of the other cars due to the third position gained in race 1. Despite that, Talkanitsa and Talkanitsa Junior take the fourth position (Super GT) and new important points for the championship.
